The FR Iron Hyde Welding Hoodie is an industry-first, built for welders who demand adaptable protection. Featuring a removable stomach panel, the Iron Hyde allows you to replace high-wear areas or upgrade to a full leather front when the job calls for maximum protection. Designed for medium to heavy-duty welding, this hoodie delivers modular protection without unnecessary bulk.

Each Iron Hyde ships standard with a CarbonX® stomach panel.

Constructed with a CarbonX® FR twill body, top-grain leather reinforcements in high-wear zones, and FR & Kevlar® stitching, it provides serious heat and burn protection while maintaining mobility and comfort. Wash & Care:

• DO NOT PUT IN A WASHING MACHINE, It’s not the material we are worried about. It’s more the leather shrinking and becoming hard.
• For a cheaper alternative, we recommend filling the sink with some mild detergent and cold to warm water. 
• From there, you can dip the garment up to the leather and hand wash the fleece.
• Ring out the excess water. 
• Hang dry.
• Up In Smoke leather is as real as you. The leather may have imperfections on it because it comes from an animal. Imperfections can be a result of branding, scrapes, cuts, freckles and wrinkles. They are not on every hoodie and do not impede the integrity or performance of the gear.
