The steering in 964/ 993 cars has always felt squishy as a result of the steering rack not being firmly mounted to the chassis as it is in the earlier 65-89 911 and later model 996/ 997 cars.
These bushings are made with a higher grade polyurethane and the molds are more precise providing a near perfect fit which is much easier to install then previous versions.
They dramatically improve steering rack stability over the factory rubber bushings and for best results, we recommend installing with our (RS-160) Steering Rack Brace.
